What We Do
We offer mobile counselling, interest-led youth mentoring, practical community participation and collaborative guidance for families. Our approach is trauma-informed and neuro-affirming. Together we find workable routines, build confidence and self-advocacy, and connect support across home, school and community.
Our Services
Family Strategy Session
Practical, trauma-informed conversations with families about what may sit behind a young person's distress. Together we explore routines, sensory needs, communication and supportive changes at home and in the community. We agree strategies that fit your family and review what is working.
Community Access & Independence Mentoring
Practical, side-by-side mentoring to practise community participation and everyday independence. Activities may include public transport, small transactions and local outings, with consent, suitability, sensory needs and safety arrangements discussed beforehand.
Our Benefits
Family & Environment Supports
Communication approaches: Exploring clear, supportive ways for parents, siblings and carers to communicate, adapted to the young person’s needs.
School and support network liaison: With appropriate consent, Leigh can collaborate with educators and others involved in support to share agreed goals and practical approaches.
Routines and everyday spaces: Exploring predictable routines and adjustments to noise, lighting, transitions and demands that may help your family.
Youth mentoring & autonomy
Interest-led connection: Creating a welcoming space around a young person's interests while building trust, confidence and self-advocacy.
Everyday independence: Practising shopping, simple budgeting, meal preparation and community travel where agreed and safe.
Body cues and self-advocacy: Helping a young person notice their internal stress signals and communicate what support or adjustments help them.
